I love it when I capture the energy and connection – the special bond – between a family and friends. I believe the family photoshoot itself should be a fun day-out or experience as well. So I often choose locations like Amsterdamse Bos, the beach near Zandvoort, a boat on the grachten of Amsterdam, or a nearby park or hotel terrace to be the backdrop.
But sometimes the best place to take a special family portrait that truly captures that bond is in your own family home or garden… the most natural and relaxed of settings where you and your family are yourselves.
